Ah, the life of a writer. One minute, you’re cruising along with a story and the next–you have ten new ideas.
Sigh.
Let’s face it–we’ll never write all the story ideas we come up with. Life’s too short for that. Some ideas will come and go without ever having an actual plot and named characters. Other ideas that did get that far could eventually fade and be thrown into the scrap bin, never to be seen again. (Unless you decide to mix two of those scrapped stories together and create a new one)
With that in mind, focus on the ideas that never leave. The ones where you can leave for a while and come back to it like you never left. The ones that showcase topics you go on and on about in the real world.
And have fun writing!
