Favorite Lines & Quotes

Alright, so I didn’t realize I’d forgotten about today’s post until just now, so…here it is. Also, I think that instead of just having quotes from Preserving The Past, I’ll use other favorite lines I’ve written from a few other stories I’ve started on…stories that are collecting dust on the hold shelf or ended up in the scrap bin, unfortunately…

“Acting like an action movie hero and jumping off this roof to the next.” — Ethan from Preserving The Past. (Hands down, he’s one of my favorite characters I’ve ever come up with)

She studied him for a long moment, noting his messy hair which had grown about an inch in length, the few days’ old stubble on his face, and his eyes. Those beautiful, jade green eyes that held so much warmth and love and pain and regret.  — Lizzie about her husband Henry, also from PTP.

“Can my birthday be tomorrow?” — Junior, also from PTP.

“Dude, this isn’t the movies where you can spend the rest of the countdown finding that ‘magical’ red wire that you miraculously cut at the last second!” – Abe from an earlier version of Preserving The Past. However, I do really like this line, so maybe it’ll end up in the final product…

“Not to fret, fair maiden,” he said. “For with our brains and our brawn-and some help-we shall outwit those rascals and make it to the city!” – Ulric from Switched. (AKA a near-forgotten story…that I still want to write)

“But one move and pain happened.” — Forget-Me-Not. (Sadly, this is a scrapped story…probs for the best though)

“Calm down, I’m not dead yet.” — Harrison from Forget-Me-Not.

So, that’s just a few of my favorite lines and quotes I’ve ever written…and they’re just the tip of the iceberg, too.
