HAPPY FIRST DAY OF FALL!!! *throws leaves everywhere*

*cough* I may be overly-excited about this season…I CAN’T HELP IT. Oh, fun fact: leaves actually have those warm tones all spring and summer long, but as fall approaches, trees start shedding the chlorophyll (which makes leaves green) in preparation for winter, thus revealing the pretty reds, oranges, and yellows.
(Of course, evergreens remain green all year long…
unless they didn’t get enough water bc of how dense the forests are… but that’s neither here nor there)
Volume 1 of Arrows is…almost ready…for…betas. The first round. Yes, I’m going to do two rounds of betas. I’m also capping the limit at about 10-15 people, so…yeah. The form should be ready by the end of this week.
The Woodsman isn’t being stubborn, just standoffish. Though I did manage to add some the other day.
I have a new story idea. It’s about one of the side characters from Arrows, and has some of the same themes present in Arrows. The title is The Importance of Waiting, and the leads are Jason Wright and Lily Yates. (They also have the perfect names, which I’d love to gush over, but perhaps another post)
Kind of thinking of turning an old story into a serial, but I don’t know yet. And I thought of a new angle for another story yesterday…still not entirely sure about it. So off to the backburner it goes.
How’s your writing going? Are you excited for fall? Like the new theme? It’s only going to be up for the season…come first day of winter, there’ll be a new theme. Is that weird of me? ‘Cause it kind of sounds like it, but at the same time, I thought it’d be fun to dress up the blog a bit for each season…
Oh! So I was going to make myself a lap blanket in a lovely variegated red yarn…but it turned into a shawl instead:
And I’m currently knitting yet another shawl, this time with autumny colors. Well, technically, I’m restarting it, because it was too tight around the shoulders.
