‘Tis the season to drink hot apple cider and vanilla chai tea and eat pumpkin pie and apple crisp and apple pie and cuddle up in blankies! AND REFORMATION DAY!

I’ve got plans for this month. Aside from Five Fall Favorites and wanting to post autumny flash fics, I’m gonna share about each of the Five Solas on each Saturday by sharing a verse, a hymn, a sermon, and an article explaining the sola. On Reformation Day itself, it’ll be pretty much the same thing, but with maybe two hymns.

I’m also going to try and finish The Heretics of Piedmont by D.J. Speckhals and Luther In Love by Douglas Bond. Honestly, I might as well start over with them because it’s been so long since I picked up either book…

I’m going to be joining a different writing group this time around, hosted by Christine Smith! She’s also the host of Know The Novel, a writerly linkup for writers to share about their current WIP!

While I’ll still be plodding my way through Arrows and TW – or at least trying to – my main focus is going to shift towards A Time For War, the first book in my Civil War series, A Time For Everything. Well, that’s the plan at least. I may or may not have gotten a new story idea last month that I might try to write instead.

It’s set in the late 1810s and involves a gardener’s daughter and a veteran of 1812 and is loosely inspired by Beauty & The Beast. Probably gonna set it in New England too during the autumn bc New England is goooorgeous during that time!*

*I only know this from pictures; I’ve never been to NE.

Anyway, that’s about it for now! What’re your writing plans for this month? Also, I’m going to be posting that first Reformation post later today, so stay tuned!
